I truly care about you. That’s why I practice immigration law. I’m an experienced immigration lawyer who truly understands what you are going through and the immigration legal services you need.
My family lived in an immigrant neighborhood with people who didn’t speak English. We lived with multiple generations of extended family members who worked many jobs, just to make ends meet. Everyone in our neighborhood joined together to help everyone else survive and thrive.
These experiences guide my philosophy about how I treat others, how I practice law and how I try to live my life.
I appreciate the difficult decisions and sacrifices you’ve had to make. It’s not easy to leave behind, the only life you’ve ever known and the people who were a part of it.
Let me guide you through the daunting U.S. immigration process ahead of you.
My mother was a first-generation American. Our family lived with my grandfather and my uncle. Our aunts, uncles, cousins, and great-grandparents lived only houses away from ours.
I understand the immigrant experience because my family lived it. Although my grandfather could not speak English, he worked extremely hard to make a good and better life for his family.
Almost all of my grandparents and great-grandparents are immigrants from Europe who valued education, hard work, living ethically and treating everyone with respect.
It is by these same principles that I practice law and represent my clients. I understand your dreams, your wishes and your hopes for a better future for yourself and your children.
I practice U.S. immigration law from my office in beautiful Arpino, Italy and from the proudly-progressive city of Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. I can help clients in any location anywhere in the world with immigration matters.

I began providing free immigration legal services to naturalization applicants to a group of new Russian immigrants and refugees. The USCIS was systematically denying their naturalization applications for meritless reasons.
I answered a call from community leaders who correctly predicted that having an immigration lawyer attend the interviews with these applicants, would increase the approval rate significantly. I went to a free training for volunteers to learn how I could help. After experiencing how profoundly effective immigration lawyers could be in this setting, I decided to open my own practice in immigration law.
In 2000, I began practicing U.S. immigration law full-time and officially founded my own firm. Please contact me via email or at 612.805.8626 to arrange a consultation.
